This is the first of two estate online auctions of historical importance for the prominent Wartman family who were one of the first settlers of Kingston from England that married into the equally respected Nanton Clark's. Their ancestor's include Harold Richardson Wartman, Henry Emmett Wartman, George Walter Castle, William Paterson, cellist Percy Humphrey, Sir Augustus Meredith Nanton, Brigadier General Herbert Colborne Nanton, Daniel Augustus Nanton who married Louisa Jarvis, daughter of the Honorable William Botsford Jarvis of Toronto. Provenance for the antique possessions have been well documented from one generation to the next of both the Wartman and Nanton Clark family.
